The ability to use fixed fractional position sizing is the most exciting feature. This allows users to take realistic trades and see their account growth in real time. Previously I was using spreadsheets to determine overall performance.

I think the ability to leave notes on the chart is another great feature especially for developing traders. It may take a little time for best practices to be established on how to use them most effectively but I think once that happens it will make Forex Tester 4 a staple in trading education. ForexTester team did again a very good job with the last and improved version of ForexTester4.

I noticed the attention to details and the high variety of new features added, there is no doubt now that a trader can grow to becoming a professional trader without FT4 in their arsenal. All new features are very useful, one more than another, even starting from the new Icon of the software which I find it very thoughtful from FT team because it creates no confusion among users having multiple versions of FT installed.

My overall impression is that it is a great improvement for manual traders due to the inclusion of the news feature. It is certainly improving my results when backtesting my shorter term systems as it allows insights for entries and exits that no other backtesting software provides.
